Born in Jakarta, received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Diponegoro University, Semarang and continued his master degree in Quantitative finance & risk management from Newcastle University. He had experienced for some infrastructure projects in Jakarta and west part of Indonesia as Project Manager. He is experienced with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Project Estimation, Construction, Pre-construction, Contract Management and well educated in financial investment. Started in 2023, he is appointed as President Commissioner in PT PP Energi.

Born in Palembang, October 18^th, 1980, he was appointed as Commissioner of PT PP Energi in the Annual Shareholder's General Meeting 2018, dated April 12^th, 2019. Furthermore, Mr. Ismail Zulkarnain is concurrently as Member of Audit Committee of PT PP Energi.
